Driving back from points North last November, we passed this LIDAR-enhanced Prius and I wondered 'Is it an intrusion of privacy to photograph a camera car?' Now it turns out to probably be one of the Google-funded, Stanford-designed self-driven robot cars, driving sedately on a Sunday afternoon near Davis. It does explain why the 'driver' is watching us rather than the road as we overtake. I think his hands are still safely on the wheel...
(the odd reflection in the sky is my braids; the Exilim is fast enough to get this shot of one moving car from another, but not if I stop to roll the window down!)
