I just finished reading Juniper, Gentian and Rosemary (Pamela Dean) and until I can nag
sbisson into reading it I have no-one to talk about it with (obsession, absorption, friendship, meetings and clashing of minds, the origins of misogyny, the collocation of subtle hints that are either very clear or very funny in retrospect) so I'm left picking the quotations out of my teeth. My first thought was to sit down and hunt down all the quotations I didn't recognise. My second was that someone must have already done it. I think they have - by the name of Felix Strates - but the site doesn't load and only shows up in secondary references, not as a result on Google so I can't even look for a cache. Oh InterWebs! You fail me!
